Sarah Palin & the campaign for Real Beauty

It looks as if the Republicans don't think too much about Dove's campaign for real beauty. Here is Faux (Fox) News debating about the latest Newsweek cover on the VP nominee.

India Post - A bird in plight

Somebody’s got to own up on the fuck up; a decently big opportunity to create an enduring cultural icon is now definitely lost.

The new logo created no wow moments, the bird in flight story is all balls, and there is no insight about the audience or the product. The opinion on the web has been that the logo completely pales in front of the existing identity that was developed by IIT Mumbai in 1995.

It seems that the brief to the creatives was to appeal to the ‘resurgent, urban India’ and a logo idea with no reference to traditional Indian symbols was selected. One, we don’t think its too much of a brief or an idea and two if that’s the story, then the urban market was approached all bloody wrong. The ‘brand new’ online presence is just one example.

King Dhritharashtra was in for much bewilderment when we also told him the story of executive assistants in the central government participating in agency brainstorming sessions and rejecting design strategies based on her personal preferences in colour coordinating sarees. Last heard also was that CNBC TV18 is putting together DesignIndia, The Government & The agency for a televised debate.

LOL. Any body got Piyush’s 83 film for India Post?

We'll see you in Delhi, Jarasandha

Jarasandha was the powerful king of Magadha, who was defeated only when Bhima, Arjuna, and Krishna worked together to tear him in to two pieces.

Next door neighbour Shoaib Mallik would have been a geographical favorite for the character reference, but we are just in awe of how Mr. Ponting uses the world media to win matches.

A true example of 360 degree advertising in India :P

Anybody has spare passes to his diwali party?

a boring manifesto & some key characters

I dont know exactly know what we are doing, but i could tell you some things that we dont necessarily need to do
One. We dont take sides folks. Period.

And its because, thats how we have been for the last 5000 years.

Most of us in this part of the world dont believe in the concepts of absolute right or absolute wrong; only in the sense of a long Journey that has to be enjoyed as much as possible. Maybe, it is this very vague sense of ambivalence that makes India the only place in this world where any one can find absolute harmony even when they are surrounded by a billion contradictions.

Video Mahabharata loves and serves everything beautiful to the mind. It is about all the really good things in the new India - culture, creativity, entertainment, art & technology that makes living here an epic post modern drama.

Probably, the only thing we are terribly against is mediocrity. We don't take it very nicely becuase it tends to pulls down the average IQ and pretty much destroys all the fun of being around.

So, Lets just hope that its a long happy journey & that we get to write some poetry :)

***

For the sake of maintaining interest, here are a few key characters that could regularly create trouble:

The blind, tone deaf & stammering King :

He is the one man every one reports to. He could be you, me or your neighbor's kid.
Our primary responsibility is to give the poor chap what he deserves

Duryodhana & his one hundred brothers:

He is the one who molests good ideas for sadistic pleasures.

He could be you, me or your neighbor's kid
who says he can do advertising.

They are our symbolic anti heroes who hasnt yet, forget collaboration, even realized that being bad is not an original concept.

Masters of their craft, yet blinded by the hysteria of the masses.
They are not you, me or your neighbor's kid but established Brains in the society.
We hope to have a few of them telling us their views on important conflicts.
